Default Pasting from one ID file to another - fonts change

    Hello all,
I have a customer who made files in ID 2.0 I am opening them in ID CS. I select all, copy, and then paste into another ID CS file. I am doing this because she has each page of the book as a separate file, and I want to combine the files by signature and put 2 up on a page. (I did this by hand, I did not use a script or plugin)
There were 160 pages in the book, and most went fine, but 4 pages gave me a problem. When I pasted them, the font changed on some parts. I know the original font is not corrupt. It is my most used font, and I've never had any other problems with it. The really strange thing is within a single text block, some text will remain correct, and the other changes.
This is the case on the screen and as it prints.
The text is changing to Times New Roman. I vaugly remember something about that font on here, but I couldn't find it when I searched.
It is not the worst thing to happen, as I can go in and change it back without a problem, but I want to know why it is happening so I don't have the same problem next year, and in case it means I have a larger problem.
    Has anyone seen this before?
    Thanks,
    Sue

Default Re: Pasting from one ID file to another - fonts change

Sounds like a styles issue. Both docs have styles with the same name but
    with different specs.

    Thanks Bob,
I should have known that from other styles issues I've seen here before. I had set up the file I was pasting into without any styles originally, but I just realized I had pasted something into it by mistake before pasting the correct one, and that paste must have brought in the other style.
Thanks for the answer. We wanted to be sure we didn't have the same problem next time.
    Thanks again,
    Sue
