There's the searchCurrentFolder property that's set true by default.
OF course Quicktime must be installed on the windows system ( not
standard like on a mac ) or you would get some 'comfounded' message.
The should be able to play the external mpg file by opening it in file
manager.

Sorry that doesn't help much. Quicktime is installed and if the searchCurrentFolder is set to true what else would stop the projector from finding the media? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi...
Create a new folder and place your director and mpg file in it. Place the mpg
file in the same level as the director file is..re link the mpg once more...and
also before playing the video, include :
sprite(yourvideospritenumber).member=member(videoc astnumber), so replace
yourvideospritenumber with the sprite channel nuumber that's in score. Replace
videocastnumber with the video cast member's number in the cast window..See if
it works....
