pbxbuild cp: "no can do" ?? - Mac Programming

Hey guys: Trying the "AboutBox" tutorial thing. Bear with me; I'll get the hang of this. I can't get around this error when I follow the last step of the tutorial, when I try to use pbxbuild from the terminal: /Developer/Tools/pbxcp: /Users/zeppenwolf/AboutBoxApp/build/ UninstalledProducts/AboutBox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info.plist: Permission denied /Developer/Tools/pbxcp: error: open(): /Users/zeppenwolf/AboutBoxApp/ build/UninstalledProducts/AboutBox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info. plist: Permission denied When I look at Info.plist in PB, it seems fine, reacts to changes when app is built. In tcsh, I can manually cp that file to my home directory... Hmmm, can I have a clue? Eden...

Default pbxbuild cp: "no can do" ??

    Hey guys:

Trying the "AboutBox" tutorial thing. Bear with me; I'll get the
hang of this. I can't get around this error when I follow the last step
of the tutorial, when I try to use pbxbuild from the terminal:

    /Developer/Tools/pbxcp: /Users/zeppenwolf/AboutBoxApp/build/
    UninstalledProducts/AboutBox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info.plist:
    Permission denied
    /Developer/Tools/pbxcp: error: open(): /Users/zeppenwolf/AboutBoxApp/
    build/UninstalledProducts/AboutBox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Info.
    plist: Permission denied

When I look at Info.plist in PB, it seems fine, reacts to changes
when app is built. In tcsh, I can manually cp that file to my home
directory... Hmmm, can I have a clue?

Yes, I remember having problems like this with pbxbuild. But I've never
seen this sort of problem with xcodebuild; can you upgrade? Also, are
you remembering to clean when you do an install build? I find that this
    is always necessary. m.

Guy at Apple says 10.2 is my limit. I feel inclined to trust him.

    Also,

Yes. Thanks for trying. Not all is gloom, though-- I'm responding to you with the "Halime" news reader, which I just *built* from the public source code using PB! Kewl! :)

I used pbxbuild at one point in my life, and if I remember correctly, there is a
way to force it to spew more debugging information, including complete
invocations of all UNIX commands it runs. That should tell you what pbcp is
doing (as I am sure that it's not just cp), and once you have that, you should
be able to figure out why it's failing.
