•*.PDF always looks like a stamp even at100%…
Hello -
I don't know why, but since I installed the CS3 on my new Mac PRO Intel (Mac OS 10.5.5),
well always when I do .PDF, and open it with Acrobat 8.1.2, it appears at a stamp size (even at 100%) with a lot of white background around it.
NB. I'm sure I checked 'crop the artwork to the artboard'.
Does anyone have an idea why?
Thank you, have a nice day…

Re: •*.PDF always looks like a stamp even at100%…
Hi Jon -
Well, I'm sure that when the default size is set to "fit page", the .PDF is oversized (means it's completely pixelazed at the screen).
Checked 'crop the artwork to the artboard' OR 'crop the artwork to the artwork bounding box' and it doesn't change anything…
Thank you for any feedback…

Re: •*.PDF always looks like a stamp even at100%…
Hi MarkATS -
Well, just via "Apple-P", and then I choose "Adobe PDF 8".
I was wondering… I think the thing happens when I open a file made previously from a CS3 under Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), and I'm running under Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

Re: •*.PDF always looks like a stamp even at100%…
Hi -
Still nobody encounter the problem?
Well, I can't resolve it yet, but I saw something today…
I updated the computer of one of my colleague (FROM 10.5.4 TO 10.5.5), and this problem appears!
Does this mean that it could have something to do with the OS?
Thanks for any feedback…

Re: •*.PDF always looks like a stamp even at100%…
I use 'Save as Copy' out of Illustrator CS3 to make a PDF X1a. This was working fine until this morning. When I 'Save as Copy' out of Illustrator the resulting PDF doesn't abide by the custom crop marks in the file. I get a scaled PDF with a ton of white space around the PDF. It's like it is cropping to the pasteboard area instead of the custom crop area that I defined in Illustrator.
If I choose to include trim marks when saving the PDF X1a I get this message: "Acrobat PDF Format is having difficulties. The dimension of this page are out of range"
If I 'Save a Copy' to a PDF other than X1a it crops as expected to the are work.
Are these issues affiliated with this:
