PDF appears as open document in Apple Mail

A single page PDF will display in-line within MacMail
A multi-page PDF will display as a PDF icon

Provided the PDFViewer Plug is in Plugins folder. Unless you set them to open using Acrobat or Reader in that cas, they will all have the icon and not open up.

Lets try that again. If you "remove" the PDF viewer Plug from Internet-Plugins folder, then you'll only get the pdf icon. "Unless" you when asked what to use to open, select Reader or Acrobat.

You sure? Only that I thought MacMail relied upon Quartz for the in-line
display?

Just tried it with the plug-in removed - MacMail still displays in-line
for 1 page - the PDF icon for multiple pages ...

Can you confirm this
