PDF export problems
In the course of my work I frequently import illustrator and eps image
files into my indesign documents. When I export as pdf I sometimes
lose most of the image except for the bottom-most black (outline)
layer. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to this happening, and the
same thing has happened when I've exported the indesign document as an
eps and created the pdf using distiller, I've also tried placing the
affected objects on seperate layers. I can work around the problem by
making the vector art quite large in illustrator and then exporting it
from there as a photoshop file, but this is creating large,
unneccesary files on my hard drive.
I'm using InDesign 2 and Illustrator 8.0. Any advice greatly
appreciated.
