PDF export quality
I am running Acrobat v7.1 on mac osx 10.4.11
I have a PDF from a client created in distiller 5 windows.
Their file looks fine in Acrobat.
When I re-export the file from InDesign CS3 in my layout, the quality changes dramatically.
I get fuzzy text and some color bleeding from the background into the text area on the large bold type.
I have changed pdf settings to pdf presets and flattener presets to high quality and pdf/x settings with the same result.

Re: PDF export quality
What settings did they use in creating the pdf? You should not look at
how it looks on screen, but how it prints to a postscript
printer---preferably a high quality printer. That is a much better test.
