.PDF files (as Mail attachments) areautomatically converted to .MIM files.
I send .pdf attachments from Mac (via Mail) and a PC user cannot open the files because they are converted to .MIM (I assume this is MIME). Previously there was no problem with this but it has just started happening to the PC. Mac has latest Acrobat and PC has latest Acrobat Reader. No changes were made on either system (that we know of) so what can be done to correct this spontaneous problem?
Thanks for any assistance.

What is your mail system? Mail.app? And what is your receiver's system?
If you're using Mail, are you using the Windows-friendly attachment option?

Mac: 'Mail'
PC: 'AOL'
I don't have the option selected but all worked fine previously. I'll try that.
A network admin said that it (mime) was an ISP issue on either end....it's stripping out info needed to display the file properly.
Thanks for your input.

That's more than likely the problem rightt there. AOL uses a file compression that will corrupt PDF's. There's a little more on that subject in the FAQ's for this forum.
