PDF files created in Illustrator coming up smaller when opened as PDF
I have been saving file in illustrator as PDF for clients that have no clue what an eps is. What I have noticed is the file is fine when opened in illustrator but a good 5% to 8% smaller when opened by directly opening the PDF version. What's going on?

Re: PDF files created in Illustrator coming up smaller when opened as PDF
How are you creating the pdf files? Are you saving to pdf or printing to distiller?
How are you determining the pdf files are 5% to 8% smaller?
Are you printing the pdf from Acrobat with fit to page activated?
