PDF files fail to open
Using Acrobat Pro 7.0.9 on MAC using OSX (10.4.8) I often download manuscripts from PubMed as PDF docs to my archives.
All too often, on returning to them weeks or months later, they claim to be corruptred and refuse to open. Occasionally, if I am careful to open them only from within Acrobat, they will work, but if I have doubleclicked or tried to open in Preview, they will no longer open in Acrobat.
I should like to prevent this entirely, but would be pleased if there is a method for getting onto these "corrupted" archive files.
Thanks for any help
Frank
