PDF import MX - hangs

I can't import PDFs with text. I can't import Illustrator Legacy files that
have text in them. I am using CS and Acrobat 6. I'd like to be able to create
editable tables in the Freehand file. Is this a known bug?

Hello,

Normally, PDF imports can import slow in FreeHand because FreeHand will try to
convert the the PDF file as editable contents in FreeHand. Have you tried just
using the Illustrator legacy file? Preferably, save your Illustrator file as
Illustrator 8 and below. This is the version of Illustrator that is compatible
with FreeHand MX. You can also read on some issue about opening PDF files below:
