PDF opens automatically when attached to email -Help!
I have Acrobat 6.0.2 Professional and I scan on an Epson Perfection 4870. Every PDF I make will not stay closed when I attach it to an email.(nor do the jpgs, except those that I create in Word) When I scan a document it often shows up on my desktop as a tiny document rather than the Adobe icon.

Every PDF I make will not stay closed when I attach it to an email.
Can you explain what "will not stay closed" means?

Re: PDF opens automatically when attached to email -Help!
Virginia,
it is a feature of OS Xs Mail application to show attachments. To turn this feature off, you need and extension to Apple's mails called "Mail Attachments Iconizer" – <http://lokisw.com/index.php?lang=en&item=MailAttachmentsIconizer>

Of course, what Peter suggests you do only effects what you see, not
the recpient.

Thank you very much for your responses. Where do I look for this "Mail Attachments Iconizer", as I can't seem to find it in my system.

Re: PDF opens automatically when attached to email -Help!
Virigina,
Peter gave you a link to where you can download the Mail Attachments
Iconizer. If you haven't downloaded it, then it is not on your system.

Re: PDF opens automatically when attached to email -Help!
Dear Mike,
I missed the link from Peter, but found out that if I hold down the Control button, and click on the opened PDF or JPEG in the email, I get a menu giving me the option to send as an icon.
Thank you very much for your response. I appreciate the support.
