PDF Presentation File Size

I create pages in Adobe Illustrator then pdf them. After this I attach the pages together in Acrobat. The problem is the size of the final product. My presentation are usually 3.5 to 4MB! Unfortunately, this size is to big for many email inboxes. Can I change the resolution or some thing to make the PDF presentation smaller?? Thanks for any help....

To get a small file.

1. Do not create separate PDFs from Illustrator; don't save as from
Illustrator at all.

2. Combine the EPS files from the Illustrator designs in a page
make-up tool.

3. Print to Distiller from that tool.

What is a page make-up tool? And I may not have understood #3, but I need to attach the pages and make a pdf presentation that can be sent to people electronically, not print. Thank you so much!

"Print to Distiller" makes an electronic file (a PDF, specifically)

Something like QuarkXPress, PageMaker or InDesign. Even Word,
conceivably. That is how multi-page documents are made, not by
painstakingly joining separate PDFs.
