Depends on what you mean by "well". I've heard Acrobat 8 does a mighty fine job compared to older versions.

Keep in mind, you may find many things in a PDF that cannot be imitated in Word no matter what application you use to do the conversion.

<FONT FACE="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:12.0px'>Funny, I spoke with Adobe about 8 today and they said I didn’t need it to convert but when I use Pro 7, it does a lousy job. I have a background from Mac PS CS2 and text in AI CS2 and the only thing that shows up in Word is 1 line of text on 2 pages.<BR>

You don't need to buy 8 if you have 7.08 but it does a lot better job of it.

One Cavaet though It will neither install nor work on a system Lower than OSX.4.3.

Depends on what is in the ad.

If someone took all the text and turned it into a bunch of vector/paths - then sure - there is nothing to send to Word :(.

Since your talking about a third party suggestion I've heard about the items here:

<http://www.recosoft.com/products/index.htm>. Supposedly it specfic purpose is convert from PDF to Office (Word/Powerpoint) I know nothing about it. And am not recomending it. from what I've scaned on the site it honors protection so if its a locked file it won't work.
