PE 1 XP quits unexpectedly

    Maritn,

    Try disabling extension. Just go to the plug-ins folder. Inside of that is a folder called extensions. Just put a tilde ~ in front of the folder name and see if that helps.

    Late breaking news: Like a dummy I never checked Adobe's download area. When I did today, I found an update for PE 1 specifically for P4 and "similar" boxes using MMX technology like mine. I followed the instructions and the unexpected quitting has stopped. <http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40&platform=Windows> is where I found it. Hope this helps someone.
