Usually around 300Mb. I doubt if the file size is relevant here, as OE will not choke on files that are even much larger. The problem lies somewhere within PE-2, I think.

How is it that you are "sending" the jpeg to OE? When I put pix into OE I ususally just add them as an attachment and have had no problems.

Thanks for reply; however, Elements 2 includes that "send" provison in its options. Therefore, if using it crashes the program, something within PE-2 that should work is not working, right? Why is it causing a crash, then?
