    Default Pen question this time

This has irked me since AI 10.

Whenever I'm using the pen tool to draw things, and I would toggle the smart guides on and off (cmmd+U) the next point i draw with the pen tool would ALWAYS be a new point, intead of continuing from a previous point that i was in the middle of drawing. So i always have to go back and click on the previous point again to reconnect it so i can continue drawing.. okay no biggie.

But now, in CS, it does this wheneer i use shift-X to toggle fill/stroke, or the <, >, / keys to change the the stroke and fill, it does the same thing. in 10, it would let me continue drawing on my mery way, now, i have to go back every time to reconnect the dot.... is it supposed to be like this???

I don't think it's supposed to be like this, and I'd call it a bug.
