Perl / Cgi scripts in colour - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I really like how DW displays JavaScript code in colours. This certainly makes it easier to read. However, can DW do the same when coding pearl or cgi scripts? Regards...

    I don't think it's possible to colour-code Perl in DW. See the last post in this thread.

    It's probably possible- but i don't think anyone is going to do it.
    {if you do it- you can share the files with others..}

    Perl coders- either use a good text editor or there are a few IDE set ups
    that allow quick edits and parsing.

    In My Opinion.... Dreamweaver is not and never will be a good editor for
    Perl scripts. The better set up is to have Dreamweaver hand off .cgi or .pl
    files to the editor of choice.

    I'm not on the "inside" but in my opinion, macromedia will spend zero time
    on this. If someone is proficient in Perl, they can bloody well write it
    from the git go and won't tolerate an editor like dreamweaver trying to
    manage paths for them.
