We currently have a autoresponder set up, so that when people submit a email
to us they get a thank you email. Is there any way of sending out a
personalised thanks using php?

like

Dear $name,

Thanks for contacting us ....

Obviously I have a textfield named name.
I just don't know how to send a email in php.
