Photo Album

I am building an interactive cd that has an image library in it for people to
click on a thumbnail and a larger full size photo opens in a new window-(so
they can close out of that and be back at the thumbnail page). is it possible
then to right click on the full size photo to save to the desktop? is there an
efficient way to do this??

The easiest way to do it would be to have the large images stored as
external linked bitmap members. Then the 'download' to hard drive could
be accomplished using the free fileXtra4 xtra's file copy function.

Internal high resolution members could be saved using the free
sharpExport Xtra or the commnercial imageXtra.

I am working on a similar project, but am new to Director. Can you tell me how
you set up this type of image library. I have an idea of a way I could do it,
but it would take forever. What is the easiest way to do this. Also, any ideas
of how to use the same images for a slide show option as well, that displays
the photo full screen.

I have set up some albums using the Photo Album generator in DW. This works
fine.

But, I find it very laborious to ADD a picture to an already generated album.
It is a bit impractical.

I wonder if there is another version of the Photo Album Generator that works
better in this respect?

My JustSo PhotoAlbum3 allows for this, especially easily in DW8.
