Photos in Internet Explorer

Hey All,

I am new to dreamweaver. After creating a website, I tried to put in
some photos into place holders I had made. When previewed in Safari (I'm on a
Mac) it works fine but when tried in Firefox or IE, the images do not show up.
They are basic jpegs. What are some possible reasons for the photos to not
show up? Thanks for the help!

For me it is everything. Although I have found that when optimized in Fireworks they seem to work. Don't know why.
