Default Photos pixilated when printing photo packages!!

OK, I know this can be done. My printer (Kodak 8500) prints beautiful 8x10's but when I choose a picture package, the smaller shots become pixilated. I kno wthat sounds backwards, but it's true. The larger shots are clearer. Can someone please help. I've tried everything I can think of.

Default Re: Photos pixilated when printing photo packages!!

My best guess is that your default resolution is higher for your 8x10. Check the default resolution of your picture package on your smaller prints and increase it if it is too low. I'll bet it is printing at 72dpi.

    Desmond...2 things:

    1) How do you like your 8500? I am debating between that and the Olympus P-400. Any thoughts?

    2) Are you now able to print the smaller shots?

    Thanks...Cory
