PhotoShop 6 shuts down when opening a file
I just purchased a new copy of Adobe PS 6 and installed it. When I try to open a file the program just shuts down. I have a 4 week old computer running XP. Any suggestions?

I am able to open certain files. I downloaded files from my server and those are the ones that cause it to shut down. I was going to delete the files and download them again but now my program (CuteFTP) won't load. Could this be a conflict between Adobe and CuteFTP?

I very much doubt it. It does sound that you have a problem with Cute,
though....and that it is corrupting files whilst downloading them
