Try resetting your prefs (instructions in the FAQs) and update to 7.01. Let us know if that helps :)

I installed Photo shop v7 on 30 May 03. I now have a program in my startup file called 'Adobe Gamma Loader'which apparently starts every time i turn on my computer. Since I only use Photo shop on occasion how can I make this program only open when I open Photo shop? Does it have some purpose to be on all the time? What does it do?
I have read the FAQ's and found only one related to Gamma Loader. Its my first time in these user forums. If I am in the wrong place please advise. Thanks, Fred MacDowell

    Fred,

Expanding a little on Tony's explanation, Adobe Gamma Loader is what loads
your Monitor ICC Profile. You should have created a monitor profile with the
Adobe Gamma applet in Control Panel.

There is absolutely no point in disabling it - it is what makes your monitor
    show the intended colours.

I am thinking about buying PS7, but am worried about the system requirements. I have Windows 98se I have 384mb of Ram,a 40 gig hard drive, its a pentium 2 processor. In Adobes requirements it says you need at least a pentium 3 or 4.I am wondering how much this would slow me up.Thanks

Well, faster is always better. I run Photoshop 7 just fine on win98se with 256 MB Ram and 2- 20 gig HD's, on an AMD Athalon 700. So you'll be fine, BUT... Photoshop 8 is due out soon as rumor has it. If you purchase PS 7 AFTER the official announcement, you'll get a trade in for v8. When is it coming? Who knows, but I'm betting Q4 2003, fyi.

    Peace,
    Tony

    Hi
Is it possible to print more than one image (not the same image, different
ones) on a sheet using photoshop 7? I am finding this a major drawback.
    TIA
    Chris
