Photoshop 7 crashes on Load
I have a Win XP Pro system and have been running Photoshop 7.0 (and 7.0.1) Both function fine, some of the time. However, every so often, when I am trying to load PS, the program crashes on startup, before I even see the splash screen. In the past, I ahve been able to correct the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling PS (WHAT A PAIN!). My last reinstall attempt didn't do the trick though. I still get the same error. I've done some digging and it seems that the program faults on loading "ml145.dll" I tried to google and search here for that dll name and haveen't found anything. Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Photoshop 7 crashes on Load
Got it figured out. The driver (ml145.dll) is related to a Samsung printer (model ML-1450) that I have installed as a network printer. It seems that PS doesn't like something about the driver when I am not connected to the network. Any suggestions as to how to get around this error? The printer is necessary, even though I am not always connected to the network.

Re: Photoshop 7 crashes on Load
Set a different printer as the default.
And the most likely cause of the crash is the driver itself, not Photoshop.
