Photoshop Filters (Grain)
Hi folks,
I'm trying to use Photoshop 5 for scientific purposes. But I can’t really do that if I don’t know something more about its way of image processing. The question is: does anybody have an idea what is the mathematical algorithm, which stays behind the “Grain” effect. How is it called at least and if it’s possible, how does it work. Many thanks indeed.

Re: Photoshop Filters (Grain)
This is the Photoshop Elements users' forum. Some people here use both Elements and full Photoshop, but you'll probably getter a quicker response by posting your question on the forum designed exclusively for users of the full version. Good luck! :)
