Photoshop Import Color Changes
When I import a 4C process photoshop 6 file into 10 or 9 the white background gains a 1% in CMYK. Anyone know what the problem is?

Sounds like a similar problem I am having. When embedding a Photoshop EPS (cymk) file into Illustrator 10, the images gains a 1% Magenta dot to the entire image. When left as a linked image (no embed), the image outputs correctly. I hope to see a post regarding these issues soon.

Are your settings and color modes the same in both applications?

Both applications are set to CYMK with color management turned off so there sould not be any conversion taking place.
