I recently recommended that a client purchase the MX2004 studio for editing
their own website after signoff. I currently use Photoshop and DWMX or
Homesite 5 for HTML coding and have not used Fireworks or Freehand, though
have a fair knowledge if Flash in it's various incarnations.



Problem: All the photographs on the site have been marqueed with rounded
corners and then had an Action "Vignette" with a feather depth of 5 pixels
applied to them in Photoshop. I am loath to recommend that they purchase
even more software. Can they use one of the apps in MX2004 Studio to
achieve the same effect?...if so, How? They are pleased with the ease of
use of DreamWeaver MX and I have no problems answering their support
questions in that application, but I am at a loss where Freehand or
Fireworks are concerned.
