[PHP-DEV] "Experimental" sockets ext? - PHP Development

The sockets extension is still marked experimental, and users are starting to ask more and more questions about wanting to use it but are wondering about its status. It's been a while since I looked at it, but is it still considered experimental? Are there known instabilities or lacks which should be taken care of before we remove the experimental designation? Or should we just tell the users 'yup--use at your own risk'? It is actually very stable, though the vector based functions will most
likely become deprecated. I will have better doentation with examples
finished shortly. Worst case before PHP5 is release.

I am also planning on adding some new features before that time as well
Users should have no problem using it in a production environment. If
you guys are getting alot of questions about this extension and don't
have time or know the answer, feel free to forward them to me.
