Php hosting
Hi group,
I'm d-veloping in php, and I'm looking for a hosting service that'll let
you host 2 domains on one account without charging you loads of cash - also
I need them to support MySQL, PHP, CGI etc., provide lots of space, a few
email addresses....
Any suggestions, or recommendations are appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Php hosting
I personally would advise against 1 and 1, I have had 2 sites hosted by them> www.1and1.com
at the same time, they try and make it very difficult to move away and also
I forgot to pay for 1 of my packages so they put a freeze on it (fair
enough) but they also froze my otyher package yet that still had a few
months to run. I told them to unfeeze it and they refused.

PHP hosting
Anyone know of a reliable free hosting provider w/ no ads w/ PHP?
Also, I know of alot of those free PHP hosts that say they have ads but
how do they do it if my webpages are dynamically generated by my PHP
scripts??

Re: PHP hosting
Hi Arich,
I think they'll put a header and/or footer before every page they serve,
effectively wrapping whatever content you generate between theirs.
We sometimes give away hosting plans depending on site traffic / type of
site and whether we'd get a small link/credit. We always give away hosting
if we design the site but it sounds like you've already got that covered.
Have a look, and if you're interested contact us via the contact page and
mark it for my attention - Chris Allen.
