php include / image path
I have a site that uses php includes and i need to make those editable. The
text is not the problem, I can tell the users to access the pages via 'choose
file'. But since the included file is in a different folder than the including
one, the embedded images are shown as broken links. This also means that if an
editor shoud want to change an image, it will be displayed correctly within
contribute but when rendered online the image path will be wrong again...
Any suggestions how to work around this issue?
Thanks.

Re: php include / image path
Have you tried using absolute links: http://www.yourdomain.com/images/yourimage.jpg

Re: php include / image path
Also you could place the includes at the same level of course and mark 'm as
'inc.namefile.php' to tell them apart from other files, but I think you
considered that probably, if not, here's the suggestion...

Re: php include / image path
I did consider changing the structure, but I would very much like to avoid
this, the site is bilingual and the includes are separated in 'en' & 'de'
folders, and I would have to give up this structure.
If I use absolute links for the images, what happens when an editor changes
one of the images? As far as I saw, Contirbute creates a folder 'images' and a
relative path... or is there a way to tell Contribute to alway use absolute
links?
Thanks
