php xml parser functions - setting user error codes
Does anyone know if there is a way to set an xml error code from
within one of your handler functions? The reason I ask is because I
have an application that I want to make sure there is character data
within a certain element, but because there is no "validating parser"
I need to set my own error codes somehow. Maybe this is *why* there
is no validating parser!? I've already thought about using a global
error array or something to store errors in, but I was wandering if
I'm just missing something. I've scoured the documentation on
php.net. Unless I'm blind, I don't see a way to do this.
