Pie graph percentages - Adobe Illustrator Windows

Hi Guys, Is there any way to show the percentages of each slice of a pie graph beside the slice, aside from creating text boxes and placing them? Thanks in advance....

    Hi Guys,

Is there any way to show the percentages of each slice of a pie graph beside the slice, aside from creating text boxes and placing them?

    Thanks in advance.

Let's say you have a Pie Praph that consists of the following values:

    10, 20, 30, 45, 120, 135

To add a legend automatically, the data in the Graph Data Palette should look like this:

    First row: "10" "20" "30" "45" "120" "135"
    Second row: 10 20 30 45 120 135

Now, while the Pie Graph is selected, double click the Pie Graph Tool in the Tools Palette and set up the desired appearance/position etc. of the legend in the Graph Type dialog.

Not exactly what I was trying to do because this won't work if you have multiple pies in the same graph for example, but I guess that's not possible. Thanks anyways, I appreciate it.

If you're talking about multiple pies like the following, then look here:

That's a actually pretty slick but my pie graphs have data showing values for the category across various groups.

PS: how did you get that picture in your message?

    Mark,

To link (a website is required), write this in your message (this is for a GIF, use jpg for JPEG etc):

    <a href="http://www.YOURDOMAIN.TOPDOMAIN/FOLDER(S WITH / BETWEEN)/IMAGENAME.gif"><img src="http://www.DOMAIN.YOURTOPDOMAIN/FOLDER(S WITH / BETWEEN)/IMAGENAME.gif" alt="" border="0"></a>

PS here's the boilerplate I have for the same:

Upload the image to a server. Use this code to point to it:

    <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/yourfile.extension"><img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/yourfile.extension" alt="" border="0"></a>

Replace "yourdomain" with your domain name, "yourfile" with the file name, and "extension" with the extension. The reason there is both a link and an image tag, is so people who access via news readers can also see the image.

    Bert,

Oh, I thought that was impossible. I will use the .extension part instead of .gif in the future.

It's all the shouting that got me... I didn't think html needed to be yelled at.
