pinnacle jukebox
I am trying to retrieve some files from a broken Aspen 40GB Jukebox.
Since the driver is kernel specific (JB jukjebox software SunOS pre solaris)
from the defunct company I can not seem to get past the not ready state of
the jukebox.
I tried to mount the two optical drives manually, but the software will not
recognize the mounts.
Although the files are tiff, the software wraps the data so a straight copy
from the mounted filestructure gives a useless file. I have no documentation
on the software, nor the original software, so I can not reload it and
define a different single sierra optical drive as the jukebox.
Any one have any idea what format the data is in?
or
Have familiarity or documentation for the aspen 40GB jukebox??

I believe that you have two problems.
1. How to mount the drive anyway.
2. How to extract the data. I do not believe that this is related to the
jukebox. It is releated to the application that is using the jukebox. It is
probably a DMS software like Filenet.
