Placed eps files appear wrong size
When I place an illustrator eps file into a Quark document, they appear way oversize on the Quark page. But then when I print that page, they are the correct size. Problem is, I have no way to tell where to place them. It doesn't happen with all Illustrator eps files, and it doesn't happen with any other eps files. I am working in Quark 4.1, the Illustrator files come from other sources so I don't know what version is being used. They have consistently been PC format, and I am using a Mac.
Any idea what would cause this? And how to fix the problem?

Re: Placed eps files appear wrong size
This used to be a common problem when using PC saved files imported into Quark on a Mac. The fix I remember is to open and re-save the Illustrator file on your Mac with a Mac preview.

Re: Placed eps files appear wrong size
I bet the file has object>crop marks>make…correct?
If so, this is a bug that was fixed with the 10.0.3 update. Install the update and resave the file.
or
Turn do object>crop area>release.
The bug only deals with the preview and not the file itself.
