Default Placing a multi-page file into a document

I'm planning to upgrade to CS (have both 1.52 and 2.0) and am wondering whether it can do this: when I try to place a PDF file of a manuscript scanned in Paperport, it places page one but doesn't have the little plus sign or any way I can see to import ALL the pages, just the first page.

Is this something that CS version can do, or am I just missing out on how to do this?

It's been scripted. Check the Adobe Studio Exchange and/or the scripting
    forum.

The script is simply a convenience to take away the toil of doing each page manually. If you activate the import options, you can place any page from a PDF -- perhaps you knew that, but I wasn't sure from your wording.

As far as I know, the script for the Windows side has not been updated to CS. It has been updated to CS on the Mac side though.
