Placing FreeHand MX 11.0.2 EPS files in InDesign 2.0.2 ??
I'm having trouble placing FreeHand EPS files in InDesign. I've saved my vector illustration as an editable EPS from FreeHand MX 11.0.2. When I place the EPS file in InDesign 2.0.2 the gradient fills are not displaying correctly. The gradient has transparent gaps all throughout the fill instead of being a smooth solid gradient fill. How do I fix this? Is there a certain way I should export my illustration from FreeHand so that it will import correctly into InDesign? Is anyone else having any problems like this? Please help.
thanks,
Kathleen

Don't worry too much about how the EPS displays. How does it print to a PostScript printer? Does the display improve when you choose High Quality Display for the image? If you can print it or make a good PDF, then there's nothing to worry about. InDesign can render Illustrator files very well, but can choke on other EPS files.

Never used FH, but Corel Draw EPS files work flawlessly.
