Please help !! create web photo album

I have created one web photo album using Dreamweaver 8 but when I try to make
another I always get "an error occurred" message and the album doesnt complete?

can someone please help b4 I pull my hair out!!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem except that I have never been able to create a photo album in Dreamweaver 8

Instead of using dreamweaver to create you photo album have you thought of
using an application such as JAlbum. Its fast and you can easily customise the
look of your gallery. You can see an example in my website under the gallery

well why would we want to use that when we already have dreamweaver and
fireworks? I'm having the same problem! Dreamweaver doesn't open fireworks to
batch the images. I know because that's how MX used to work, now 8 won't do it.
Its a problem that needs to be addressed.

Do you have any special symbols in your pictures file name?
Like the "?" in "Caf?" or some not standard interpunction...
Try to make all of your photo file names in English first then let DW to build
up your photo album.

I have same error " an error occurred "....
Try this...
Create photo album normally and when you get error message, go to destination
folder where you try to create album.

DW create 3 folder in there... Images, Pages, Thumbnails. Go to thumbnails
folder and click file called " buildPhotoAlbum.jsf" and if you got fireworks,
it do thumbnails automatically....

then just clic index.html file in destination folder and it works!
