Please Help-Fills in Illustrator from Lines-Please Help

When I draw three lines in Illustrator to create a triangle, from the Line Tool, How do I get a fill Inside it?? I tried the paint bucket and clicked in the middle and it dosent work... Is the some other way to color objects inside made with lines??? I am running XP and I have Illustrator CS. Please Help, Thank you.

Don't feel dumb, Michael. It's just a running gag in here that no one ever reads the first post.

Most basic questions have already been answered, so it's usually faster to search the forum for a simple answer. If you don't find what you're looking for then I'm sure everyone in here is more than happy to help.
