Plugin Lab Menu extention error message
I downloaded the Horizontal Flyout Menu Dreamweaver extension and installed it
using the extension manager into Dreamweaver MX 2004. I am using OS X 4.2.8.
When I go to Inset/PluginLab/Horizontal Flyout Menu, I get an error message
which states:
[i]While executing onload, the following Javascript error(s) occured: At line
20 of file "Main/Applications:Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004: Configuration:
Commands: PL_HorizontalMenu.htm" ReferenceError: PLHFO is not defined.[/]
Can anyone tell me what this means.

Re: Plugin Lab Menu extention error message
Try deleting your cache file in the confugration folder, then restart DW.
configuration folder location:
<system_drive>:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\
The location may be different on OS X.

Re: Plugin Lab Menu extention error message
Also, the extension says the OS is Windows. So it might not support Mac OS.

Re: Plugin Lab Menu extention error message
That .dat file does not exist in my configuration folder or anywhere else on my
machine.
The PLHFO folder is in:
User/Library/Aplication Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX
2004/Configuration/Shared/PluginLab/Presets.
The PLHFO.dll file is in:
User/Library/Aplication Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX
2004/Configuration/JSExtensions,
and the PL_HorizontalMenu.htm file is in:
User/Library/Aplication Support/Dreamweaver MX 2004/Configuration/Commands
folder.

When I finished installing the extention I got the message that it was
successfully installed. It also shows in the Extensiion Manager check list as
installed (version 2.0.80).

I belive it is a hidden file, so you may need to unhide it.

Unhid all files. The only file that vaguely represents the one you mentioned
is the unhidden FileCache.dat file, which I trashed from everywhere I could
find it. Emptied trash, rebooted Dreamweaver - same error.

Re: Plugin Lab Menu extention error message
I would suggest going to the extensions author website for support.
