pluginlab flyout menu not working
I should have done some simple research to find out that this plugin had proved
to be a problem for many people. I should have also noticed that the tutorials
and support on the pluginlab page is from 2004. I am having a problem making
these menus work. Everything works fine as I preiview from my computer, but the
nothing works when I upload. No flyout, nolinks, no roll over effects etc.
This is old news it seems, and I have followed the advice on this board and
have changed the the ref to javscript in the html. What remains not working
are the links from the flyout menus.
It seems to be that this extension uses site relative paths, unfortunatly I
must use document relative paths becasue the "site" I am working on is just a
small part of a govermental agency and I don't know where on thier site this
menu will sit.
Any ideas? And please don't reccomend I buy a product that actualy works! I
just spent 100 bucks for something that I mayb not be able to ever use....I
can't afford to buy a second one. I just wanted something easy....
Thanks, Pan

that way to save the developer time. It's much more difficult to do it
the right way. Your only solution would be to dump your site into a
single folder or to carry duplicates of your javascript file in every
folder. I would cut my lossse now and if I couldn't afford a proper menu
system tool, I would revert back to simple navigation that I could write
myself until such time as I could afford to invest in quality tools.

using invasive techniques we do not believe worth employing. To guage
our quality, we offer fully functioning live demos of page output, as
well as a large community of user-to-user forums via news server. We
have well over 50,000 customers and were the first company to mass
market commercial extensions.
