PMS gradients turn to CMYK
Hi there I am hoping someone can help.
System: G4 1Ghz DP, 2Gb Ram.
OSX.3.3
Adobe Illustrator v10.0.3 - have trashed both prefs and Plist files.
"convert to process" is UNCHECKED in the separation setup dialogue.
What should the PPD be? I've been using distiller to date.
Anyway the problem is I can make solid and screened blocks of colour
separate correctly - but if I have a simple gradient going from 100% to
0% it converts itself to CMYK.
Okay I'm using Acrobat 6 Pro to open the AI file and check the seps...
Does anyone have any ideas how you make these PMS gradients behave?

Are you going to 0% white or 0% of the spot? If you are going to white, change that end of the gradient to the spot color.
