PNGs
Hi,
Has anyone get any ideas on displaying PNGs properly (ie, with full alpha
channel transparency). I understand that NN displays them properly anyway,
but I'm using:
style="filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Al phaImageLoader(src='my_png
..png', sizingMethod='scale')"
to display them in IE... which is fine, *except* it's an annoyingly bulky
line, and it's super-dodgy as it crashes the browser now and then when you
make dynamic writes to the page. For all I know, this method may be well
outdated by now...
I really want to use my special PNGs, but if all else fails I can just use
GIFs I guess...
Thanks
Rob
