Default Polite Download? Has anyone had to do one?

    Hello and help!

How does one code a flash banner with a file size limit of say, 30K, but can
have up to 100K in "polite download"?

I've search this forum , but no luck, and Google simply returns Ad
spec/requirements from MSN, Washington Post, CBS, ABC, etc.

I understand the "theory", but this noob needs a little pointing in the right
(coding) direction. Does that mean I load a new SWF into the original SWF from
another server? If so, does that mean I'm violating a No Cross Domain loading
    policy?

    Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Polite Download? Has anyone had to do one?

Typically in order to take advantage of polite download specs on a site you
have to use a Rich Media vendor approved by the site like Eyeblaster, Atlas
Rich Media or Pointroll. They each have their own specs and ways to allow for
loading movies politely that meet publisher requirements.

The basic idea is that the child swf's are not loaded until the publishers
page has finished loading. That way you aren't interfering with the their
    content loading.
