Pop-Up Menu behaviour
hi
just got my new copy of dwmx2004. i am using the show pop-up menu behaviour
for my site navigation but have an issue i need to resolve.
i wish to use a horizontal menu whose contents will appear just beneath, and
parallel to, my navigation icons. my problem is the spacing between each menu
item being non-uniform.
i can see where this problem comes from; clearly if i was using vertical menus
then the physical width of a menu must be greater than or equal to the longest
menu item (if it is to display properly).
what i want is a horizontal menu whose items (ie text) are equally spaced from
each other. i would like a tried and tested extension for this job, if anyone
knows of one!
any help is appreciated. thanks!

Re: Pop-Up Menu behaviour
thanks
i should have mentioned that my menu 'icons' (the images that will trigger the
menu behaviour) are already created and are already in the form of a
fireworks-exported table/set of images.
i have put a lot of time into this part of my site, therefore i would prefer a
means of applying menu behaviour to a pre-existing image, as opposed to
redesigning my navigation from scratch.
am i right in thinking there's no way to add 3rd party <b>behaviours</b> as
such (as normally available under the Tag Inspector) to dwmx2004, just
extensions?
thx

complex and very difficult to edit to make it do things beyond what it
already does. Here's a link that Murray posts in the Dreamweaver General
Discussion group a lot that explains a bit more about issues with such
menus:

You can easily use your existing trigger images if you were to recreate
the menu from scratch. Using the AutoHide solution from ProjectSeven
would probably take all of 20 minutes to redo a menu, including
rearranging code and creating the proper DIVs to show and hide,
depending on your menu of course. Haven't used the
