Default Pop-up menu crisis

Hello, I hope someone out there can help me see what I am doing wrong ....

I created a graphic navbar in Fireworks for a website that works great in
Fireworks (previewing with a browser), and also when publishing the html and
browsing it separately -- see http://www.dunkleymusic.com/navbar/navbar.htm for
how it is supposed to work.

But once I import the HTML into the Dreamweaver template, the file displays
without any of the pop-up menu behaviors. See http://www.dunkleymusic.com - the
links (in the top) are active but no pop-up behaviors.

Dreamweaver has a tech-note about troubleshooting pop-up menus (linked below)
and I have tried everything on that document, I think. I have isolated it as a
probelm that is occuring when importing the files in, becuase it works fine in
Fireworks and also when browsing the graphic directly. It also works fine when
published to a stand-alone (not created from a tempolate) html page on the site
-- see http://www.dunkleymusic.com/draft3.htm

I would appreciate any guidance on what I am doing wrong, and how can I fix
this so the pop-up menus drop down on all pages built from the template as they
do from http://www.dunkleymusic.com/navbar/navbar.htm

I'm sure you have figured out I'm no HTML expert, but I am trying to learn,
and my suspicion is that something I have "coded" (OK, created with
Dreamweaver) on the template page prior to or while importing this file is
causing the problem.
Thank you for ANY help! Macromedia pop-up technote linked below.

Dave:

Bad news. These pop-up menus, that is. They routinely suck people exactly
like you into a black hole. Is it too late to reconsider your choice?
There are MUCH better ways.
