directed to look in the hard drive for the image.

Re: pop-up menus
thanks for the reply....
what do you mean? that is where the files for the buttons are, uploaded to the site. would i rather have it outside a folder with the other html files? how come ie5 accepts my buttons which came from same directory? what changes must be done? it was done in fireworks and was normally exported to a folder (copy to clipboard) and (paste html) to a blank html page. a single procedure that is tested to netscape and ie5, where ie5 doesnt show any problem.
pls clarify... thanks a lot!!!!

saying that you don't have the images located in the right folder on
your server. I'm saying that the mark up on the page is incorrect.
Instead of pointing to the folder on your server where the images should
be located, it's pointing to a folder on your hard drive. I've seen that
happen when someone forgets to save the page to the site in Dreamweaver
before Ftp'ing it to their server.
As for why you can see it in I.E., my guess is that you were testing it
in I.E. before you published the page and the images are in the I.E.
cache file.
That's about as far as my knowledge extends with things like this. I
hope it helps some.
