Porting from CS to 10... can it work?
Hello Everyone,
I am a college student, and I recently purchased Adobe illustrator CS, so that I can work on my projects at my house (I commute). I've had no problems with the program, and I really like it, however; I am having difficulty when it comes to taking the created CS file and opening it up using the Colleges Adobe Illustrator 10.
When I open the file using 10, parts of the image is missing, and other parts are invisible (opacity is set to 100% but it acts as if it is at %0). I can open the file fine in Photoshop 7.0.1 (although the colors are off). I really need to be able to open up this file using the Colleges 10 (for purposes of grading and printing).
I know it's a backwards compatibility issue, however; Is there any way around this? I hope that I am not, as they say; "Stuck In The Mud!". I do not have enough time to redo the project again in Illustrator 10, so any help (or ideas/tricks) would be greatly greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Jeffrey Bower
