Post Installation error
Hi All,
After I finished installing Cold Fusion 6 on windows xp professional, I get
an error while clicking on Administrator in ColdFusion group which tells me
that an error occured while proceding the request, kindly check the manuals
and bla... bla... Below it has an option viz. Stack, when expanded, gives a
long list of lines, the first of them saying: java.lang.exception
initialisation error.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? Any help towards this will
be appreciated.
With warm regards,
Parag

Re: Post Installation error
Hi mxstu,
Well, just give me few hours coz that pc is lying at my office, so will
write here once i get back to it. Meanwhile, when i try to install
coldfusion at my home pc, in the end it stops with an internal error 2738,
pressing OK rolls back the entire installation. Any help in this regards?

Re: Post Installation error
- Re: First error
Without seeing the stack trace, I'm just guessing, but but since you said it
is version 6 and you get the error when logging into the Admin screen, I would
check this technote. The recommendation is to use the free upgrade to MX6.1

- Re: Second error (coldfusion at my home pc)
I don't know about the internal error 2738. Was there any other message? Did
you download the version your'e trying to install from? If yes, did you verify
the checksum of the file to make sure it wasn't corrupted?
