    Default Posting code samples in Text area?

    Trying to post code in a text area, but becasue the script has 'smilies'
    enable, code is displayed wonky ...

    Have tried using <pre> ...

    The output is generated using php

    Using the news script silvernews ... have tried their support already ...

    have you tried using &lt; &gt; to replace brackets so they dont get
    processed?
